Don’t ever say Hulk Hogan isn’t a supportive parent.
The wrestling superstar talked to Life & Style about the performance that daughter Brooke gave at the Ocho Calle Latin festival in Miami two weekends ago, where her vocals were overshadowed by a spicy pole dance. Dad was in the audience at the time.
“Of course I was there,” Hogan told Life & Style. “I try to make it to as many of Brooke’s performances as possible. I support her and everything that she does.”
Hogan may stand by his 20-year-old daughter and her midriff-bearing ensemble, but PopEater readers were adamant about Hogan’s skills on the pole. Out of 58,000+ voters, 18 percent gave the dance ‘Thumbs Up,’ 14 percent said ‘Thumbs Down’ and the majority — 68 percent — said they wanted more thumbs so they could turn them down too.
In a separate poll, we asked whether dad Hulk being in the audience made it OK for Brooke to do the pole dance. A whopping 89 percent of our over 25,000 voters said ‘Absolutely Not.’
Hogan’s thumbs would appear not to have been part of our vote. “I’d watch my daughter perform no matter what she does,” he says to L&S.
Fans of the Hogans can look forward to more family antics on upcoming episodes of ‘Brooke Knows Best,’ airing this May on VH1.
