I’m in a hospice program and I’m doing a report on Jainism’s view on death and dying and when I was looking up information I learned that their ultimate goal was to achieve nirvana. I couldn’t tell if it was implied that when a person finally dies they achieve nirvana, or if they can achieve it while still being alive.
