Rock Band 2 – The Bachman-Turner Award (achievement unlocking)

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

This achievement troubles some people. Here’s a surefire way to get it. The unlock method is to keep Overdrive deployed for at least 90 seconds. The best song I found to try this on is The Kill, which is a downloadable song. Use it roughly where I use it, then have your partner use it when you’re about to run out (which might be a while if you both keep getting unison bonuses). Any combination of difficulties can be used, but the lower the difficulty, the easier it will be to hit the OD phrases. This song is the easiest for those with only one other person that knows how to play. If you can get a 3- or 4-person band, almost any song can be used. One song (“Sorry”, by Guns n’ Roses) can be used in single player. One other note is that this cannot be done in Score Duel or Tug of War. It must be in a band or single player. This song is downloadable content. One other note. My icon is silver because I completed the Endless Setlist 2 on Expert (in addition, I got the Bladder of Steel achievement in the same run). 08/31/10 update: To be honest, I’m surprised this has over 24k views.
