The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart hosted a special Town Hall Q&A in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of “Nevermind.” Fans asked questions of Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and producer Butch Vig in the SiriusXM Studios in New York City. In this clip, Krist and Dave recall Dave’s first rehearsal with the band, and Dave talks about leaving his former band, Scream. The special aired as part of Nevermind Radio, a five-day all-Nirvana channel featuring live recordings, rarities and more. Michael has shot some of the most amazing rock & roll photos in his career behind the music. He became the band photographer for the Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and the list of rock legends he captured on film goes on and on. As a rock & roll insider in those days, he took photos of what was, not what one expected to see, and as an insider today he does the same thing for 21st century bands and artists. As team photographer for the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland A’s, Zagaris is sports’ “inside-out shooter”. This is the first documented legit harmonies FC of this song on any system. We did do some high score runs on the correct path on both my profile and gothiclysm’s profile, but we didn’t hit all of the harmonies on those runs and consequently didn’t beat the botted first place score. Either way, it was a lot of fun to finally take down this beast of a harmonies song. A new Rock Band trailer has arrived that has totally given a new meaning to “landing the right notes”. My only comment is: This new trailer rocks. I won’t spoil anything and just let the trailer rock you away. I must warn you though, I think a Dodge Challenger gets trashed. Thankfully, it is just some CGI fakery, but still…. *sniff* Dude, seriously. When I die, I totally want to go out like that at the 1:20 mark. As bonus news, it looks like two new tracks for Rock Band have been semi-confirmed: Soundgarden: “Black Hole Sun” Red Hot Chili Peppers: “Dani California” I’m sure we’re bound to see more rumors and confirmations here soon as MTV & EA are showing the game off around the world.

This video is for TimmoWarner! On Nov 27, 2011 I ran a 26.2-mile marathon and then streamed a Rock Band marathon for 4.5 hours, all in one day, to raise money for Child’s Play Charity. In total I raised over $1300 with the help of friends, family, and folks in the gaming community. To thank the most generous donors I offered awards to people who gave certain amounts, such as song requests during the Rock Band stream or video dedications. So this is one of those video dedications. Outside was actually one of the first songs that I ever made a video for, over 3 years ago when my recording setup was far more primitive. Looking back, it’s amazing that I got as many subscribers as I did back then because the sound and video quality were pretty atrocious! :O So Timmo asked me to do a remake of that video, now that my videos are better quality.
