DSO announces spring season
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra has announced its post-strike spring season, including six pairs of classical concerts and a peak at a new Neighborhood Subscription Series that will take the DSO to Dearborn, Southfield and Beverly Hills. In addition, all-seats for the remaining classical and pops concerts will be $20.

German orchestra brings (really) classic hits, classic style
Max Raabe said everyone from 4-year-olds to a 101-year-old woman have attended his concerts with the Palast Orchester. Such cross-generational support would be an impressive tribute to any band, but it seems especially noteworthy for a group that specializes in music written 80 to 90 years ago.
