What are your general thoughts on Insane Clown Posse?

Thursday, April 14th, 2011

I feel a little dirty liking them hehe. I hated rap always. I was and still am a devout metalhead but I heard this ICP song (Hokus Pokus) on youtube and I liked it and a few others. I looked up the group and it seems they’re really disliked/mocked/hated in the rap community. I know nothing about rap so could someone explain to me why they are supposed to suck?

GENERAL MUSIC INDUSTRY: 2010 Year End — Jazz
Although in recent years jazz could seem mired in defensive talk about the music’s health or its makeup, 2010 felt different somehow. Whether it was the often sumptuous, jazz-drunk taste of New Orleans offered by David Simon and Co. in HB0′s “Treme” (which wasn’t exactly “The Wire,” but Baltimore never let us sit in with Galactic, Trombone Shorty or Kermit Ruffins, either) or a surprising best …
