Since when is pearl jam and foo fighters considered heavy metal?

heavy metal song that says something about break and kind of sounds like korn?
Wednesday, November 30th, 2011I had a song stuck in my head this morning and I could remember the tune and that the guy singing it yelled break but I don’t know the name of the song or the band. I can’t even remember the tune now :/ Its kind of a heavy song and sounds a little bit like Korn. It isn’t by Three Days Grace or Linkin Park.

How can i convince my parents to let me listen to korn, slipknot, and other metal bands?
Saturday, July 30th, 2011My mom keeps saying they’re satanic and my dad HATES the swearing. Can someone tell me how I can convince them that they don’t “poison my mind” or anything. If you can, give me some links that show proof that they are not satanic. Please, if you don’t have anything nice or helpful to say do not say anything at all. I greatly appreciate any good answers.
