A new Rock Band trailer has arrived that has totally given a new meaning to “landing the right notes”. My only comment is: This new trailer rocks. I won’t spoil anything and just let the trailer rock you away. I must warn you though, I think a Dodge Challenger gets trashed. Thankfully, it is just some CGI fakery, but still…. *sniff* Dude, seriously. When I die, I totally want to go out like that at the 1:20 mark. As bonus news, it looks like two new tracks for Rock Band have been semi-confirmed: Soundgarden: “Black Hole Sun” Red Hot Chili Peppers: “Dani California” I’m sure we’re bound to see more rumors and confirmations here soon as MTV & EA are showing the game off around the world.

This video is for TimmoWarner! On Nov 27, 2011 I ran a 26.2-mile marathon and then streamed a Rock Band marathon for 4.5 hours, all in one day, to raise money for Child’s Play Charity. In total I raised over $1300 with the help of friends, family, and folks in the gaming community. To thank the most generous donors I offered awards to people who gave certain amounts, such as song requests during the Rock Band stream or video dedications. So this is one of those video dedications. Outside was actually one of the first songs that I ever made a video for, over 3 years ago when my recording setup was far more primitive. Looking back, it’s amazing that I got as many subscribers as I did back then because the sound and video quality were pretty atrocious! :O So Timmo asked me to do a remake of that video, now that my videos are better quality. Thanks again for the incredibly generous donation, Timmo! Hope you like the video.
