Battle of the bands to be featured at Wheel Jam
The Big Jim Battle of the Bands will begin at 7 p.m. Friday on the Freedom Stage. The competing bands will be Blue Wolf of Huron, Manhatten Bulge of Mitchell, Time Bomb of Mitchell, Cross-eyed Mary of Sioux Falls and Call to Vengeance of Sioux Falls.

Brian Timmons, Bergenfield’s music coordinator and director of bands, started his musical career in Bergenfield schools in fourth grade and went on to play in the renowned Bergenfield High School Marching Band. The band was recently featured in the movie “The Bounty Hunter” and appeared this past school year on the Fox TV morning news show “Good Day New York.”
