How can I convince my parents to take me to a Green Day concert?
Friday, September 2nd, 2011I really want to go to a Green Day concert but my parents don’t really care for Green Day and they don’t exactly know that I really like the band. How should I tell them that I want to go to a Green Day concert and that I really love Green day? How can I convince them to take me to the concert? Thanks!
The Misfits – London Dungeon (Alternate Take)
Monday, August 15th, 2011
Back on the net after 6 months. Alternate take of London Dungeon. From the unreleased 2001 remastered album “12 Hits From Hell”/”The MSP Sessions”. This version of the song was originally recorded in 1980 at Master Sound Productions but was later remastered for the unreleased album “12 Hits From Hell”. All images are from onethirtyeight.com, the7thhouse.com and from myself. Lyrics: They called us walking corpses Unholy living dead They had to lock us up Put us in their British hell Make sure your face is clean now Can’t have no dirty dead All the corpses here are clean, boy All the yanks in British hell I don’t wanna be here in your London Dungeon I don’t wanna be here in your British hell Ain’t no mystery why I’m in misery in Hell Here’s hoping you’re free They called us walking corpses Unholy living dead They had to lock us up Put us in their British hell I don’t wanna be here in your London Dungeon I don’t wanna be here in your British hell Ain’t no mystery why I’m in misery in Hell Here’s hoping you’re swell Make sure your face is clean now Can’t have no dirty dead All the corpses here are clean, boy All the yanks in British hell I don’t wanna be here in your London Dungeon I don’t wanna be here in your British hell Ain’t no mystery why I’m in misery in Hell Here’s hoping you’re swell Here’s hoping you’re swell Here’s hoping you’re swell Here’s hoping you’re swell (from MisfitsCentral.com)
Every Breath You Take – the Police Expert (All Instruments) Rock Band 3 DLC

www.youtube.com So this week was pretty interesting. Spill the Wine I didn’t really pay much notice to at first but the dual flute solos make it an auto win in my book. That shit’s awesome. Guitar and bass are incredibly sleep inducing though (it’s a wonder this wasn’t the song they chose for pro guitar/bass!), and the lack of harmonies and over abundance of talkies make this only an okay pick for vocals. I’d only recommend it if you play keys or maybe drums. So Lonely. So ronery. AOGH where, imo, is much better. Except for vocals I guess. SO LONELY SO LONELY SO LONELY SENDIN’ OUT AN SOS SENDIN OUT AN SOS SENDIN OUT AN SOS MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC YOU DUN GATTA PUDDOUT DEH RED LIGHT IJSJCFNSIOCJKMN V. This is slightly awkward on guitar and really just a basic strumfest. It has an alright solo, but eh. Drums are the typical Copeland drums, which isn’t a bad thing, but you should be accustomed to it by now and the bass is kind of fast paced. Vocals on a Police song. Need I say more? Although I was kind of disheartened to see they charted Sting’s vocals to the harmonies (which made sense I guess, it’s just be nice to sing something that’s not SO LONELY SO LONELY when there are other parts during that same spot, just a minor thing though). Needs more Splync covers. Every Breath You Take. Oh THAT song. But I already knew it before. Not too bad, it’s a slow song so I guess you have that and it’s kind of fun to sing. The harmonies aren’t anything amazing though, but it’s still fun …

“Like” me on Facebook! www.facebook.com Follow me on Twitter! www.twitter.com One of my favorite 80s songs of all time. In fact my first ever vocal video 3+ years ago was this song in Karaoke Revolution. So happy to have this in Rock Band now! My video the Karaoke Revolution version: www.youtube.com This video was created by isolating each of the 3 vocal parts in practice mode (Expert Difficulty) and then layering the video/audio from each run on top of each other. Normally I would take the lead part into Quickplay and FC it there instead of doing it in Practice Mode, but because of the way the parts are distributed in this song, you can’t stick to just one part in Quickplay alone and FC the song. Therefore none of these are a “real” scored run but I did get 100% on each separate part.
