It investigates the timeless qualities of the “Gentleman”, his music and the unique approach of this authentic guitar hero. His contribution to rock music has had a significant impact on both musicians and music fans around the world, despite his untimely death at the age of 47. The film features rare performances from Rory’s formative years with his first band, Taste, and on through his 25 year solo career as he single-handedly spearheaded the Irish rock movement, blazing a trail for other Irish rock bands including Thin Lizzy, U2, etc. With featured contributions from those who knew him best – Donal Gallagher (his brother and manager), Bill Wyman, Cameron Crowe, and his former band members; to those who he inspired to become music greats themselves; The Edge, Johnny Marr, and Slash. A new Rock Band trailer has arrived that has totally given a new meaning to “landing the right notes”. My only comment is: This new trailer rocks. I won’t spoil anything and just let the trailer rock you away. I must warn you though, I think a Dodge Challenger gets trashed. Thankfully, it is just some CGI fakery, but still…. *sniff* Dude, seriously. When I die, I totally want to go out like that at the 1:20 mark. As bonus news, it looks like two new tracks for Rock Band have been semi-confirmed: Soundgarden: “Black Hole Sun” Red Hot Chili Peppers: “Dani California” I’m sure we’re bound to see more rumors and confirmations here soon as MTV & EA are showing the game off around the world.

An all-new Medal of Honor gameplay/live action trailer directed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn. The trailer features never-before-seen in-game footage set to the band’s first single ‘The Catalyst’ from their soon to be released album, A Thousand Suns. For the first time in its 11-year history, Medal of Honor leaves the WWII theatre and enters the modern setting of war-torn Afghanistan. The game is told through the lens of a small band of fictional characters. Medal of Honor introduces players to the Tier 1 Operator, an elite warrior and relatively unknown instrument of the US Military that operates under the National Command Authority to take on missions no one else can handle.
