Who killed Kurt Cobain? continued by a friend of The Band InsanIty

rip kurt

The police removed Kurt’s wallet and laid it beside his body after they arrived on the scene.

An hour after leaving the rehab, Kurt called Courtney’s hotel and left the message that he was at Elizabeth’s. I don’t know if he was really there, but he provided her a means to get in touch with him.

Another major problem: Kurt “shot himself” with 20 gauge shotgun loaded with birdshot. As in shot that is used to kill very small creatures, not adult humans.

Kurt knew about guns. If he had wanted to kill himself, he would NEVER try this because there is a very good chance you would not die, but would be horribly maimed.

This is why Dylan would have bought him the gun. It’s a gun to scare off prowlers which is why Kurt wanted it. Notice not long before Kurt dies, he is worried about prowlers. The police seem to be “meh” about this fact that they would have known very, very early.

A 12 guage with buckshot would have been his choice if suicide was his plan. They could have obtained it as easily as the one they got.

Kurt’s grandfather talks about a 12 gauge about knocking Kurt on his ass, so Kurt had definitely used shot guns. A lot of 12 gauges kick pretty hard, but I was way smaller than Kurt the only time I ever fired one (at a paper target) and I survived just fine. So, he COULD HAVE used one if he really wanted to.

Buckshot is used on large animals. You can pretty easily kill an adult human at close range with such an item if you don’t mind extreme gore.

If it’s yourself you’re shooting… Most people don’t want to use something that horrifying on themselves, so if they have another choice… But, people do go out like that. Sadly.

It is an excellent weapon if you’re trying to disguise a murder as a suicide as a 12 gauge doesn’t allow too much left to be examined. It’s very likely, the conspirators were very disappointed to see Kurt hadn’t provided them with this option. This may be why they killed him before they shot him.

A 20 gauge is also called a “snake charmer” because it can be fired one-handed (by a lot of people anyway). It’s a self-defense weapon with birdshot in it as there is not the possibility of it passing through walls and killing an innocent person. (The reason Kurt chose it.) In fact, you’re unlikely to kill even the person you’re shooting at, but most people will run off at that point which is what Kurt wanted.

Dick Cheney shot his friend (an elderly man) at close range with a 20 gauge shotgun loaded with birdshot. That man did not die. He, in fact, recovered to apologize to Mr. Cheney. They were sitting inside a car when this happened supposedly hunting quail. This backs up what I have said about this gun.

BTW, I’m not a man and I don’t hunt. Yet, I know this stuff. Many reporters in the U.S. like to be as ignorant as possible about guns and this causes some confusion when they report stories about guns. Personally, I think that it’s practical to be somewhat knowledgeable even if you don’t have many dealings with the things.

My (ex) boyfriend from Seattle told me while living there he’d fired every type of weapon that they’d ever asked him to fire in the army. The ARMY! He’s the only person who’s ever said that to me. This was in the 90s. We actually met because we both loved Nirvana so much.

Police departments vary greatly from city to city. Things I have read that are unrelated to Kurt in anyway except time frame, location, and type of crime suggests extreme corruption and/or incompetence. Just read around anything other than Ann Rule, you’ll find it.

Courtney was able to get her fav “rock and roll” buddy to do Kurt’s autopsy. She promised the investigator she hired a copy. He told her if she gave it to him and it proved her story was correct, he’d help her clear her name. There’s an audio of this online. You will easily recognize her voice. She never gave it to him.

I wish so badly she hadn’t done this. You don’t know. Even if Kurt had to die, but the way she has talked about him is so cruel. Many of the rumors after Kurt died came from Courtney and her friends that were incorrectly reported as being Kurt’s friends.

Mercerd, I think thebandinsanity.com is a good place to start. they have links to the private investigator’s tapes. also other links to similar sites. (added by Mobile using Mippin)

bebe is shampoo… I just forgot what site I was on, lol.

The part about Kurt being at Elizabeth is from the book “Love and Death: the Murder of Kurt Cobain.” it is by Max Wallace and Ian Halperin. They say they think they know who “Elizabeth” is but didn’t put it in the book.

But, the main point is Kurt never “disappeared.” He called his wife an hour after leaving rehab, then he went back to his own house. Several people in Seattle saw him going about his business during the time he was “missing.” (added by Mobile using Mippin)

I have found a lot over the years doing searches for specific things. some things I would specifically look for is the scan of the “suicide note,” and Tom Grant, the private investigator’s, tapes.there are also some detailed time lines, etc. I first started finding things on a site that is long gone. so people have been compiling stuff for a long time.

I would advise DO NOT search for autopsy photos. the one you will find is NOT kurt. it has been debunked long ago. whoever that was, he was shot with a 12 gauge and it’s not going to be pretty.

as far as I know, very few people have ever seen kurt’s autopsy report/photos. if it can legally be destroyed, I would be surprised if it still exists. but I really don’t know the laws about that.

there were some people who saw kurt after death. most of the (light) shot was stopped by the hard palate. he was pretty much intact from what i’ve heard.

I liked it. So much useful material. I read with great interest.

  9. shampoo says:

have you heard about kurt/nirvana being in guitar hero now? my first reaction was “oh hell no”
but a friend pointed out this would debunk the “kurt wasn’t a good guitar player” myth. and give people a chance to hear some of nirvana’s music before they condemn it out of hand. I am not sure what specific performances they used.

sadly/hilariously they got help from courtney. is “athletic” one of the first words you would use to describe kurt’s appearance? well, she said it and they bought it. haha

granted, he wasn’t as frail as some people like to make him out to have been, but … he was only 25-7 during the time most people saw him. people that age are usually in decent shape.

of course, courtney contributed to the “frail kurt” myth. I guess she got tired of everyone thinking her wonderful self married a semi-invalid. it’s no surprise she was enthusiastic about the kurt cobain hunkification project. (added by Mobile using Mippin)

  21. I have found that to keep my chainsaw running the right way I need to do a lot of maintenance. It is a good idea to always check the fluids, bar oil, and keep your chain sharp. This makes it easier to use and is safer as well. If anyone else has any tips I’d be happy to hear them.
